So I’ve officially become the worlds worst blogger and abandoned my 31 day challenge on day 18! In my defence I have been moving house and transferring jobs so I’ve been super busy.
Tonight is the last night I spend in my flat in my own bed….eek! If that bed could talk, well it would probably call me a hoebag! All jokes aside I’m feeling happy and can’t wait to start my life with The Scientist.
I promise I will try and pick back up the challenge over the next couple of days. Tomorrow is the last day at work (I’m pretty heartbroken and emotional over this!) and then on Monday I start my new job and new life as a domestic goddess so please don’t be too annoyed at me if I don’t get around to it for a while!
Day 18 of the 31 day blog challenge.
I re read my post on this from last year and it’s all about being afraid of always dicking around and never having a meaningful relationship. How things can change in a year eh?
As I’ve mentioned before I’m moving house and transferring job in a little over a week and yes I’m afraid that I haven’t made the right decision. I’m leaving everyone behind and starting fresh and it’s scary AF. I love The Scientist but I don’t like change. Don’t get me wrong I’m super excited but I have to admit I’m also terrified!
I guess you’ll find out on this blog if it all works out….fingers crossed!
Day 17 of the 31 day blog challenge.
Once again sorry I haven’t done this for a few days I’ve been moving and transferring and have other stresses in my life which is making blogging a bit sporadic at the moment!
I’ve already answered this post in last years challenge and it’s obviously not something that will change so I will copy a little bit of it here:
‘When I was teeny I loved The Rainbow Fish. I think it was because of all the glittery scales, I also loved The Silver Sword and as I got older Jaqueline Wilson was the one. The Nick Sharratt illustrations were everything.
My absolute favourite books were Goosebumps though! I remember loving the bumpy textured covers and writing a list of all the ones I had read, I would always go to the library at school or in town and try and check them all out’
I promise I will try and update this everyday for the last half of this challenge but moving is hard….I have a lot of crap to get through!
Day 16 of the 31 day blog challenge.
I’m a very bad blogger and didn’t post yesterday, forgive me!
Unfortunately retail isn’t my dream job to be honest I don’t think it’s anyone’s dream job!
I’ve posted on here last year about my dream job as a menswear designer but, and this is a bit out there….I’d also really like to be a roadie! Travelling the world, listening to live music, constantly being in the hustle and bustle of a gig environment I would love it! Also I’m not adverse to a bit of lifting and shifting so the equipment wouldn’t bother me.
So Bastille, if you’re reading this I’m free to go on the road!
Day 15 of the 31 day blog challenge.
This is going to be a short post as I’m going to a gig with my beloved.
When I was younger I definitely wanted to be a teacher. I wouldn’t have been very good. I have zero patience and no tolerance for back chatters! I also don’t want children so wouldn’t be able to be around them all day!
I also really wanted to be a princess and be rescued by a prince who loved science…ooh look how that worked out! 😉
Day 14 of the 31 day blog challenge.
I’m going to live blog this and publish it at the end of the day.
Before all the Valentine’s Day fun can start I have to go do that work thing, I hate it when this gets in the way of having some amazing time (and even more amazing sex!) with my beloved.
So I set my alarm for 5:26am (I have a weird thing with numbers!) to be out of the house by 6:34am I have a ridiculously long commute to work, it’s basically a 6 hour round trip. I can’t wait to move so I don’t have to do this anymore! It also never gets any easier getting up so early and I can’t remember what it feels like not to be tired.
I get to work at 9:00am (if my buses are on time!) and finish at 4:00pm. I work in retail which is pretty soul destroying to be honest. But a girls gotta buy shoes!
It’s now 4:17 and I’m on the way to meet my beloved for our very first Valentine’s Day together. Even though we’ve only been together 3 months we’ve had each other’s birthdays, Christmas and New Years to celebrate. He always buys the most thoughtful gifts so I hope he likes the card I made him and the other bits for us to both enjoy. 😉
We have a little routine at home where I have my bath and The Scientist makes me my dinner, he always makes me the most delicious meals so we exchanged gifts and did this…
I’m going to end this post here as I want to enjoy our night together.
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!!
Day 13 of the 31 day blog challenge.
I’m going to assume that this challenge is American and by purse they mean handbag unless everyone wants to see a picture of £2.57? Firstly I’m sorry about the quality of this picture as I took this super late last night and was half asleep!
Right let’s get into it….
- My actual bag is a pink fluffy backpack from the brand Skinny Dip which is one of my faves. Ladies if you’ve never had a backpack before they are amazing! Fit loads of stuff in and your hands are kept free!
- My MAC makeup bag, the contents are explained in my ‘what’s inside my makeup bag’ post from last year. Don’t really tend to switch my makeup up that much and just stick to what I like.
- My purse.
- A fuck ton of meds! I’m always getting poorly so I need to cover all bases.
- iPhone charger and earphones.
- Our diary. The Scientist and I have a joint diary as we have lots of things coming up, I also have a coloured pen so I can have a colour, he can have a colour and we have a colour of things to do together. I can’t believe how anal….I mean organised I am.
- My special heart shaped pebble that The Scientist found me on Brighton Beach.
- Pin sentry.
- Phone charger that is also a hand warmer and torch. That will come in useful if I ever get caught up in a Titanic type sitch
